Mozayik

Every possible attempt had been made to illegally evict the residents of Camp Mozayik. The camp began receiving terrible threats and pressure to get off the little piece of land on which they squatted. After mounting pressure led to their leaders being arrested, and even murders carried out under the cover of night, the camp relocated to an area known as Titanyen. The new site was designated an official government relocation area, yet private individuals soon began claiming the land as their own and carrying out attacks with privately hired security on the camp. Every single day over 125 families living here faced brutality such as rock throwing, cholera, police beatings, and the torching of their homes.
